If you don’t have much time to spend, this is the perfect trip for you! We show you the highlights and most important sights of Egypt.

Upon arrival to Cairo Airport, our representative will meet you and assist with customs and luggage. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo in an air conditioned vehicle.

Overnight in Cairo.

After you enjoy breakfast, your Egyptologist will meet you in the lobby and start your day by visiting   the Great Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khaefra and Menkawra, or in Greek: Cheops, Khefren, and Mekrence. These are the only ancient wonders still standing and are at least 4600 years old. The Sphinx is at least this old, or some believe much older! This is one reason we call it the timeless Sphinx.

We will then have lunch, and then continue to the Egyptian Museum which houses over 120,000 objects including the treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun from 1400BC, which was discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922.

From here we’ll drive to Khan El Khalili Bazar and experience the market before driving  back to your hotel.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch (Included)

Overnight in Cairo

Breakfast on-the-go as we drive to Cairo Airport (about 45 minute drive) to catch a flight to Aswan (an hour and 15 minute  flight). Upon arrival to Aswan Airport and after collecting our luggage, we will go directly to visit Philae temple, which was built on an island so we’ll take a motor boat to get there. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Goddess Isis who is the Goddess of Love and Magic.

Then we’ll go to visit the ancient Egyptian Grant Quarry where you will see the largest obelisk in the world, also known as the unfinished obelisk.

From here we will embark on our Nile cruise, and by the time you check in lunch will be ready as we make our way to Kom Ombo.

Spend a couple of hours resting and enjoying  the Nile before we reach KomOmbo and visit a small but  beautiful temple from Greek and Roman  times, dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the Falcon God Horus. From there we will head back to our cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (Included)

Overnight in Edfu

After breakfast we’ll  take horse drawn carriages  to visit Edfu Temple, which is the most well preserved temple in Egypt from Greco Roman times. This beautiful temple is from dates back to the 3rd century BC and was built on top of an earlier 19th dynasty temple. After touring these temples we’ll head back to the Nile cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (Included)

Overnight in Luxor

(Will probably visit Luxor temple upon arrival to Luxor city but based on time we may have to hold off until the following day.)

Today will start very early around 6:00 am,after breakfast as we go to visit the west side of the Nile, or west bank, and see the Valley of the Kings. The valley is thought to have been used by pharaohs of the New Kingdom for roughly 500 years around 1500 BC. This valley is home to 64 discovered tombs, however we believe there are many more to be found. Your entrance ticket allows you to visit three tombs, so your Egyptologist will select the best options.

You will see the very special and unique temple of queen Hatshepsuit, who ruled Egypt for roughly 21 years during one of the best times of the golden age of Egypt. Her temple was built up three stories, however 17 years after her death, her name and figures were destroyed by her step-son TutmosessI due to political reasons.

Not far from Hatshepsuit temple is the workers village, where we can see tombs and ruins of the village, and learn more about life and work during those times.

Then we head back to the cruise for lunch and some rest  before we visit the east bank of Luxor, Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple (if we didn’t see it the night before). Karnak is comprised of multiple shrines and temples and is the largest congregation of temples still standing from that era. Karnak was dedicated to the main God of Egypt at that time Amoun Ra, and was called the house of Amoun Ra. This temple was connected to Luxor Temple with a Sphinx Avenue that stretched about three kilometers long.

When we visit Luxor Temple, you will learn that it was called the woman house  and was dedicated to Amoun’s wife, Goddess Mut. The temple was built by Amounhetep IIl in the 18th dynasty and was finished by his grandson TutAnkhamoun around 1400BC. Then Ramses II added the outside extension in 1300 BC.

Afterwards we head back to Nile Cruise.
