We will drive and then take a short boat ride to visit the magical Philae Temple, also known as Goddess Isis Temple, which is located on an island. Then we will visit the Granite Quarry where the ancient Egyptians went to retrieve granite. Here you will see the unfinished obelisk still attached to the bed rock. Then head back to the Nile Cruise.

In the afternoon, your tour guide will take you on a Felucca ride (sail boat) on the Nile.

You’ll have breakfast in the hotel and then you’ll be transferred to Aswan International Airport to fly to Abu Simble, (30 minutes flight ) where you will visit the incredible Abu Simble Temple. This temple is carved into the mountain and consists of four gigantic statues of Ramses II. After your visit, you will fly back to Aswan. Your Nile Cruise will head towards KomOmbo where you will see the temple of KomOmbo, a small but beautiful temple dedicated to two Gods. Then the Nile Cruise will continue to Edfu.

After breakfast you will take a horse drawn carriage ride to visit the temple of Edfu, the most well preserved temple in Egypt. It is dedicated to the Falcon God Horus. Construction started during the reign of Ptolemy III in 237 BC and was completed under Ptolemy XII in 57 BC. You will return to the Nile Cruise in the horse drawn carriage and then travel to Luxor through Esna Lock.

When you get to Luxor, your guide will take you to visit Luxor Temple in the evening to see it when it is lit up. No words can describe the beauty of this temple at night. It was built by Amenhotep III in the 18th dynasty about 1400 BC, and it was completed by his grandson Tut Ankh Amon. Ramses II added the outer court, complete with beautiful columns and his statue.

Overnight in Luxor

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (Included)

You will start with an early breakfast followed by your tour guide taking you to the west side of the river Nile to visit the Valley of Kings. This is where you will see the pharaoh tombs, full of vivid colors and historical significance since they were used by pharaohs for over 500 years.  They started during the time of Tutmosis I in 1600 BC. Since then 64 tombs were found, but you can only visit three tombs with your ticket. Your tour guide will choose the best ones  to visit.

After the Valley of the Kings, you will be transported to the unique temple of Hatshepsut. She was a tough and ambitious queen, and her temple is quite different from others. Her time was one of the best in ancient Egypt. If you wish, you may visit Queens Valley, however the only reason to go is to see Queen Nefertari. The ticket is 1000 pound (58$). We would be happy to drive you there but the ticket price is not included.

Afterwards we will return to the Nile Cruise

We will then go to visit the largest temple in Egypt, if not the world, named Karnak. It consists of huge columns, statues, chapels, courts, shrines, and the biggest standing obelisk in Egypt.
